Senate Passes Legislation Lifting Crop Restrictions

WASHINGTON —
The Senate passed and sent to President Reagan on Friday technical legislation that would allow cotton and grain producers to collect federal benefits on their primary crops without having to comply with planting restrictions on other crops they grow.
