Development of Single-Family Homes Opens in Simi Valley

Parkside, a development of 83 single-family homes, opens today at Wood Ranch in Simi Valley with 30 homes priced from $144,900 to $179,900.

Wood Ranch Partnership, a joint venture between Southmark Pacific Corp. and Far West Development Inc., is developing the homes, which are available in single- and two-story plans with three or four bedrooms and up to three baths in 1,450 to 2,016 square feet.

Among the features are sloped and cathedral ceilings, spiral staircases, clerestory windows, family rooms, breakfast nooks, interior laundry areas and air conditioning. The monthly homeowners fee is about $53. First move-ins are scheduled later this month.

Four furnished models and a sales office, staffed by Bird & Associates, are open daily except Tuesday, 10 a.m. to dusk, at 385 Spring Breeze Court.
