Trio Forms Architectural Firm in L. A.

Architects Ronald A. Altoon, James F. Porter and Harvey R. Niskala have formed Altoon & Porter Architects, a general practice firm, at 3275 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles.

All three of the principals were formerly at Charles Kober Associates, Los Angeles. Altoon was co-managing partner and principal for design, Porter was a co-managing partner and Niskala was director of production.

The three also worked for other major firms in Los Angeles, including Frank O. Gehry & Associates, Daniel L. Dworsky, FAIA & Associates, Albert C. Martin & Associates, Hugh Gibbs & Donald Gibbs, Architects, and Parkin Architects-Engineers-Planners.
