Queen Noor Gives Birth to Girl

AMMAN, Jordan —
King Hussein’s American-born wife, Queen Noor, gave birth to the monarch’s 11th child, Jordanian newspapers reported today.
Princess Raya was born Sunday. The king and queen have had two sons and two daughters since marrying in June, 1978. The king has three sons and four daughters from three previous marriages. The queen is the former Lisa Halaby, daughter of American airline executive Najeeb Halaby.
