LARAMIE, Wyo. — After losing two straight Western Athletic Conference home games, San Diego State’s basketball team will attempt to rebound against Wyoming tonight at 6:35 (PST).
Coach Smokey Gaines said Monday he would replace starting senior guards Bobby Owens and Creon Dorsey, causing Owens to quit the team. Senior Anthony Watson is expected to move from forward to guard, where he will start with freshman Tracy Dildy. Freshman Kevin Brown is expected to start at forward.
SDSU is 6-6 in the WAC and 7-15 overall. Wyoming is 7-3 and 13-9.
The Aztecs upset Wyoming, 87-81, last month in San Diego.
