22 Egyptian Officials Arrested for Bribery
Atty. Gen. Abdel-Aziz Gindi ordered the arrest of 22 high officials at the Ministry of Industry, including the ministry’s No. 2 official, on charges of bribery and mismanagement of public funds.

The officials illegally excluded rival bids made by Japanese, French and Canadian companies, Gindi said.
