Familiar? The ads aren’t owning up to it, but the animated Hanna-Barbera feature, now in release from Atlantic Entertainment as “Yogi’s first feature-length film,” actually was distributed by Columbia in 1964.

Atlantic marketing veep Ron Wanless conceded, “We’re considering it a classic--and these are all brand new colorized prints. New for a new generation.”

Yogi, still “smarter than your average bear,” is enjoying renewed popularity via the syndicated “Funtastic World of Hanna-Barbera,” with a half-hour Yogi segment.
