Lomita : Tree Planting Reaffirmed
The City Council has reaffirmed its plan to replace about 15 pine trees along Monte Vista Avenue that will be removed when the street is reconstructed this spring.
Residents along the street will be invited to a public hearing in March to decide what kind of trees will replace them.
City Administrator Walker Ritter said removal and replacement probably will cost between $9,000 and $18,000.
