Distributed Logic’s Sales Off 5%, Net Rises by 2%

Despite a slight decrease in year-to-year revenues, Distributed Logic Corp. reported Wednesday that net earnings for the first quarter of its fiscal year 1986, ended Jan. 31, increased 2% to $341,730 from $334,648. The Anaheim-based maker of computer controllers said first-quarter sales totaled $3.6 million, down 5% from $3.8 million.

Don Elg, Distributed Logic’s chief financial officer, said the year-to-year sales dropped because a large customer’s orders fell off slightly.
