Phillips Petroleum Co. said it has granted Daniel International Corp., a subsidiary of Irvine-based Fluor Corp., a license to manufacture and sell fermentation equipment using Phillips’ technology for purifying pharmaceuticals and other products. Daniel, which is based in Greenville, S.C., is an engineering, construction and maintenance company with experience in biochemical facilities.
