Synbiotics Corp. on Monday reported a loss of $472,554, on revenues of $148,235 for the third quarter ended Dec. 31. Last year, the company reported a loss of $273,401 on revenues of $251,271.
For the nine months, Synbiotics reported a net loss of $1.3 million and revenues of $470,494, compared with revenues of $699,120 and a net loss of $711,241, or 71 cents per share, for the like period in 1984.
The company blamed the loss on increased proprietary research and development investment, and on the planned conclusion of contract development activities for Miles Laboratories.
