San Diego County sheriff’s deputies, in the second school drug sting operation this week, made 33 arrests of students or recent dropouts from Santana High School in Santee. The arrests were part of a five-month operation in which undercover women deputies were enrolled as students at the school. A teacher was among the 37 people, mainly students, who were arrested at Mt. Miguel High School in Spring Valley. He was accused of giving marijuana cigarettes to students. Sheriff’s Lt. John Tenwolde said undercover drug operations at schools will continue and more arrests are expected.
