The progressive jackpot in the California State Lottery increased to $5.035 million after 16 players spun the state’s wheel of fortune in Sacramento and failed to win it. The 19th Big Spin show, taped for later television release, also produced no winners in the $1 million class, although three people won $100,000 prizes. The progressive prize reverts to $3 million after each win, and goes up by $65,000 each time a player doesn’t get it. The three $100,000 winners were Floyd Lunsford, 50, of Glendale, a plumber for a hospital; Kimberly Monbarren, 24, a homemaker from Sylmar, and Darlene Carroll, an apartment house manager from Anaheim.
