College Given Grants
Santa Monica College has received state grants for two courses in computerized automobile repair. The college received $91,740 from the state and $54,000 worth of new cars and parts from Cummings Buick of Santa Monica and General Motors. Defective parts for students to repair also have been donated by the Independent Garage Owners Assn.
