Corona Girl Dies After Car Hits Pole
CORONA —
A Corona girl died late Sunday after the car in which she was a passenger smashed into a power pole.
Cori Taylor, 16, was pronounced dead at Circle City Hospital, about an hour after the accident, said Corona Police Lt. Roy VanderKallen. The car ran off eastbound Chase Drive in south Corona before hitting the utility pole.
The driver, Guido Forcone, 20, of Anaheim, was treated for minor injuries at Riverside General Hospital. Monday, police were investigating the cause of the accident.
