Agent Gil Scott’s Canadian caravan--the one that delivered quarterback Dieter Brock to the Rams a year ago--began its 1986 tour with a tryout for two free-agent wide receivers at Rams Park.

Terry Greer and Jeff Boyd, two of the Canadian Football League’s top receivers the last few years, caught passes Monday for about half an hour from Brock, who came from Hamilton as a free agent a year ago, and Jeff Tedford, who was Brock’s backup at Hamilton. Ram Coach John Robinson and some of his assistants supervised the session.

Greer was an All-CFL selection at Toronto in 1983 and ‘84, and Boyd, playing at Winnipeg, was All-CFL in ’85.
