Beautification Judges Sought: The city is searching for volunteers to judge the annual home beautification contest that recognizes outstanding homes and neighborhoods. Awards will be given to 378 homes and six to eight neighborhoods for overall appearance, masonry, landscaping and use of flowers and foliage. Eighteen homes of the city’s 44,000 households are given Home of the Year honors. Judging is expected to take place the first two weeks of April with awards given at an open house sponsored by the City Council May 13. For more information, call (714) 638-6623.
