Swedish authorities are trying to contact the author of an anonymous letter that “made some interesting observations” about the assassination of Prime Minister Olof Palme, Stockholm Police Commissioner Hans Holmer said. He declined to reveal details of the letter, but mentioned that it contained the words “23 past 11,” roughly the time of night that Palme was shot Feb. 28 while walking with his wife on a Stockholm street.
