This weekend and next, Bauer Development Co. will host a fund-raiser for the Assn. for the Prevention of Child Abuse (APCA) at its Hidden Valley residential community in Phillips Ranch, Pomona.
The center of attention will be a huge Easter basket in which each visitor will deposit a decorative egg provided free by the association. At the end of the day, the developer will donate $1 to the APCA for each egg in the basket.
Also at the model complex will be Easter boutiques staffed by members of the association, with gifts and food available. Among the gifts are hand-dipped chocolates, silk flower arrangements and children’s Easter baskets. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
The complex is on Scenic Ridge Drive, reached from the southbound Phillips Ranch Road offramp of the Pomona (60) Freeway.
