Local News in Brief : Body of Van Nuys Woman Discovered

A motorist on Monday found the body of a 21-year-old Van Nuys woman who was shot and left alongside Little Tujunga Canyon Road in the Angeles National Forest, the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department said.
A sheriff’s spokeswoman identified the victim as Lillian Castillo. Her body was found about 5:40 a.m. one mile south of a U. S. Forest Service ranger station. No other details were available.
