The third alleged murder victim of Night Stalker suspect Richard Ramirez was found lying on the pavement next to her car on a street near her Monterey Park home less than an hour after the body of the second victim was discovered a couple miles away in Rosemead, according to testimony at Ramirez’ ongoing preliminary hearing. Monterey Park Police Officer Ron Endo testified that he found Tsai-Lian Yu, a 30-year-old student, on March 17, 1985. Lying by her body, Endo said, was a portion of a $20 bill and a gray medallion. Police have accused Ramirez of dragging Yu from her car on North Alhambra Avenue and shooting her. Yu was returning home from the Arcadia home of a friend, Jean Wang, when the attack occured, Wang testified. A deputy medical examiner testified that Ramirez’ second alleged murder victim, Dayle Okazaki, 34, was shot in the forehead from close range on the same evening.
