Reagan’s Bid for Contra Aid
Joe McCarthy is no longer here, but have we returned to the McCarthy era? The Reaganites seem to have much in common with McCarthy and there is now paranoia and almost hysteria within the Reagan Administration about Nicaragua.
Now according to Reagan and his stooge, Patrick Buchanan, if the Congress doesn’t rubber-stamp Reagan’s request, or should I say demand, for $100 million in killing power for the terrorists in Nicaragua, then Congress is outright disloyal to our country. Will Congress act like a wimp or stand up to Reagan and stop his nonsense?
