New Haitian Envoy to U.S.

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti — Pierre Sam, 60, an agronomist who has worked with the U.S. Agency for International Development and the U.N. Food and Agriculture Organization, has been appointed Haiti’s ambassador to Washington, the U.S. Embassy here confirmed.
