Revere Copper & Brass received a buy-out offer.

An investor group that owns 9.9% of the firm’s stock proposed to take the company private for $16 per share share, or about $127 million. The proposal came from a group made up of Oxford Financial Group, Jamie Securities and Prudential Equities. None of the firms would comment on the offer. The Stamford, Conn., firm, founded by Paul Revere in 1801, fabricates aluminum, copper and brass products along with cooking utensils.
