Air Crews Throw in Towel

SYDNEY, Australia — About 500 passengers were stranded Thursday when Qantas cabin crews went on strike, saying hot refresher towels they handed out were unhygienic. Crews walked off two flights bound for Japan and the United States after being ordered to give out towels to passengers, according to a spokesman for Australia’s international airline.
