Los Alamitos : Man Dressed as Woman Robs Bank of $1,400

A man dressed like a woman escaped with more than $1,400 from Home Bank in Los Alamitos on Monday morning, Los Alamitos Police Sgt. Bill Barrett said.

The robber was described as a white male in his late 20s. He was dressed in a dark sweat shirt and pants. He was wearing makeup, sunglasses and a scarf over his head that made him look like a woman, Barrett said.

No one was injured in the robbery and police have no suspects. Barrett would not disclose the type of weapon used in the crime. “If he uses the same MO (mode of operation) all the time, we may be able to pin him,” he said.
