U.S. Embassy in Bolivia Bombed

LA PAZ, Bolivia —
A bomb exploded on the roof of the U.S. Embassy in La Paz today, causing minor damage and no injuries, U.S. officials said.
The embassy said the explosive device, apparently dynamite, was thrown from an adjacent building onto the roof of the embassy at about 9:30 a.m. No claim of responsibility was immediately received.
