A judge will decide today whether to unseal the grand jury transcripts of testimony against City Councilman Uvaldo Martinez.
Martinez’s attorney, Raymond Coughlan, argued before San Diego Superior Court Judge Richard Huffman that the judge should seal the transcripts to ensure that Martinez has a fair trial on 28 counts of unlawful appropriation of public funds and making false accountings.
