Bradley and Rose Bird

I had considerable doubt about Bradley’s wisdom in delaying his decision vis-a-vis a Rose Bird commitment. Now it appears to me that the mayor has come out with a healthy response to this very sticky political issue.
He has shown statesmanship in not following an obvious political ploy to follow the mob. This issue has greatly troubled him, witness the pressure put on by both friends and foes alike.
Faced with an uphill political battle for governor, he has made a courageous decision and we should all respect him for it.
