WAC lined up financing for its Warnaco bid.

W Acquisition Corp., a Los Angeles investor group, said it has lined up the needed financing for its $410-million hostile takeover bid for Warnaco Inc. The group’s chairman, Andrew Galef, said he has been assured by the investment firm Drexel Burnham Lambert that commitments have been received for the financing. Warnaco, based in Bridgeport, Conn., markets clothing under the Hathaway, Puritan, White Stag, Chaps, Olga and other labels.
