Castration for Sex Offenders
Supervisor Pete Schabarum’s motion to study the medical, moral and legal issues of using castration to punish mentally disordered sex offenders must represent the most ingenious and progress thought on criminal justice since the Code of Hammurabi.
Could not the same pragmatism be extended to recommend decapitation as a cure for mental illness, or cutting out the tongues of politicians who perpetually lie.
Certainly, we who live in Los Angeles County, are blessed to have leaders of such foresight and enlightenment.
