At Least, If Raveling Gives a Hoot, Then So Does His USC Team

In my opinion, George Raveling displayed profound insensitivity when he replied that “You can’t let the Indians run the reservation” after being asked about the current USC basketball situation.

Being of the same ethnic background as Mr. Raveling, I would have been equally incensed had a white coach responded to a similar question by saying, “you can’t let the slaves run the plantation.”
