Louganis Leads Sweep By 3 Florida Divers

EDMONTON, Canada —
Olympic gold medalist Greg Louganis led a trio of Mission Bay, Fla., divers to a sweep of the top spots in the men’s one-meter springboard event Friday at the North American all-star diving competition.
Louganis won with 651.00 points. Kent Ferguson was seond with 539.45 and Tim Gray third with 531.70.
The women’s springboard event was another Mission Bay rout, with Wendy Lucero and Michelle Mitchell scoring 451.85 and 439.50 points, respectively.
