Spring Drills Open for the Bruins Today
Coach Terry Donahue will have 14 returning starters and several other key players when Rose Bowl-champion UCLA opens spring football practice today at Spaulding Field.
The Bruins, 9-2-1 and ranked sixth in the nation last year, have senior Matt Stevens at quarterback, with Gaston Green and Rose Bowl star Eric Ball, both juniors, at tailback.
Spring drills will last four weeks.
