UAW Reaches Accord in Spark Plug Strike

TOLEDO, Ohio —
The Champion Spark Plug Co. and the United Auto Workers union said Tuesday that a tentative agreement had been reached in a 66-day-old strike that has idled about 2,250 workers.
Company spokesman Tony Mougey said that the accord was reached Monday night.
