Nicaraguan troops have attacked Miskito Indian villages on the Caribbean coast and driven 6,000 refugees into Honduras, an Indian leader charged. Adan Artola, who heads a Miskito group called Kizan that is fighting for autonomous rule in Zelaya province, said in Honduras that about 1,500 Nicaraguan soldiers have been sent to reinforce 4,500 troops along the border. A Nicaraguan military spokesman said that only Miskito rebels , not civilians, are being attacked.
