Detectives were investigating the death of Rickie Ann Blake, 14, whose body was found on a freeway off-ramp in San Diego several hours after she was reported missing from her home under mysterious circumstances. The junior high school student was last seen alive by her sister shortly before midnight Thursday in the living room of the family’s Chula Vista home. The girl’s mother called police early Friday to tell them she found the front door open, the television set and living room lights on and her daughter missing. The girl’s shoes, make-up kit and purse were on the floor. Homicide investigators said the girl had been killed elsewhere several hours before she was dumped on the off-ramp.
