The owner of Sausalito’s Plant Recording Studio, a well-known recording center for rock music groups, has agreed to forfeit the establishment after pleading guilty to drug charges. Stanley F. Jacox, 36, of Mill Valley pleaded guilty in federal court to charges of possession and manufacture of the drug methamphetamine and to tax evasion. He faces a possible sentence of 15 years and a fine of up to $250,000. Federal agents alleged that the studio, appraised at $685,000, was bought by Jacox with his profits from drug sales.
