Wickes Lumber has agreed to acquire Kindt Corp.

The Vernon Hills, Ill., subsidiary of Wickes Cos. reported that it will pay an undisclosed amount of cash for Kindt, a wholly owned subsidiary of Edward Hines Lumber. Kindt, headquartered in Lomira, Wis., operates nine retail lumber and home improvement facilities in that state.
