Judge and Son’s Parking Tickets
The Times is to be commended for its investigative reporting on Judge Boags’ suspension of fines on at least 72 parking tickets issued to his son. This is flagrant nepotism at its worst and abuse of judicial power that cannot be tolerated.
Judge Boags’ assertion that “he didn’t think and didn’t consider the conflict of interest aspect because he had something else on his mind” is a paltry excuse and makes him unfit to be a judge! The fact that he circumvented normal procedures again raises questions about his judicial ethics, conduct and moral fitness as a judge.
Boags should have the courage and dignity to resign from the bench, since he doesn’t have the moral fiber, temperament or honesty to sit in judgment of others.
