A man using a photo of Libyan leader Moammar Kadafi for target practice was arrested after a neighbor complained that .22-caliber rifle bullets were striking his home, Los Angeles police reported this morning.
Jeffrey Doctor, 35, was released today on $15,000 bail after being booked on suspicion of firing into an occupied dwelling. Investigators said officers responding to the neighbor’s complaint at about 5:30 p.m. Monday found a bullet-riddled picture of Kadafi in Doctor’s home on La Maida Street in North Hollywood--about one hour after the U.S. bombing of Libyan targets.
Doctor explained that he was angered by Libyan terrorism, the officers said.
