Diceon Electronics Posts Record Sales, Earnings

Diceon Electronics Inc. said sales and earnings set records for the second quarter and first half of its fiscal 1986, despite a continuing depression in the electronic components business. Irvine-based Diceon makes circuit boards for computer, telecommunications and instrumentation systems.

Net income for the second quarter, which ended March 29, was $1.7 million, up 21% from $1.4 million a year ago. Revenue for the period was $16.8 million, up 27% from $13.3 million.

Profit for the first six months was $3.2 million, a 14% increase from $2.8 million a year earlier. Revenue for the six months totaled $31.9 million, up 18.5% from $26.9 million.
