Hail Kills 40, Hurts 400 in Bangladesh
DHAKA, Bangladesh — Hailstones, some of them as big as grapefruit, killed more than 40 people and injured 400 in Bangladesh, officials said Tuesday. The hailstorms Monday night flattened hundreds of houses, damaged crops, disrupted power supplies and uprooted trees, they said.
