Share

The county Office of Education has selected Rosemead High School as a model school for developing a child-abuse prevention program. School Principal Terry Irvine said the program will be called “Breaking the Cycle” and will focus on halting the pattern of abused children ultimately becoming child abusers. The program, which is to begin next month, will be funded by $9,000 from the county and will involve workshops and training sessions for students, parents and faculty.
