Altinger said the capacity of 1,400 at the El Cortez Hotel and Convention Center, where Golden Star holds fights every third Thursday, is not large enough.

“We are running a capacity for every crowd,” Altinger said. “We must look for a bigger place to stage our bouts . . . we want to stage first-run fights.”
