Hernandez Rides Corridor Key to Victory
Corridor Key, ridden by Ruben Hernandez, outfinished Loverue through the final furlong and drew off to a one-length victory in the $30,000 feature race Thursday at Santa Anita.
Loverue, ridden by Eddie Delahoussaye, finished second, a length in front of Faridpour, ridden by Gary Stevens.
The winner was clocked in 1:48 1/5 for 1 1/8 miles over a firm turf course.
As half of an entry owned by Allen E. Paulsen and the Summa Stable, Corridor Key paid $14.80, $6.60 and $4.80. Loverue returned $5.60 and $3.60, and Faridpour paid $5 to show.
