Former ESM Government officials pleaded guilty.

Six of the firm’s former executives and a former accountant pleaded guilty to charges that they hid financial information before the firm went bankrupt. Another two former ESM Government Securities executives pleaded to innocent to federal charges and U.S. District Judge Jose Gonzalez set bond for each at $500,000. The judge set a June 16 trial date for the two who pleaded innocent, Nicholas B. Wallace, the former president of the securities firm, and Stanley Wolfe, also an executive. Former ESM Chairman and co-founder Ronnie R. Ewton, 43, was among those who pleaded guilty to one count of conspiracy and three counts of mail fraud.
