The nephew of slain hostage Peter Kilburn said a funeral service would be held for his uncle April 29 by the Rev. Benjamin Weir, who had been held by Moslem extremists for more than 16 months. The service will be held at the Army post chapel at the Presidio in San Francisco, Tim Kilburn said. Burial will be in the San Francisco National Cemetery. Weir, a Presbyterian minister from Berkeley, had known Kilburn, 62, a librarian at the American University of Beirut, before the two were taken hostage. Weir warned last week that the U.S. strike against Libya would jeopardize the lives of the hostages in Lebanon. Kilburn and two British teachers were killed last week.
