Azusa : Nursery Looks for New Site

The Monrovia Nursery Co., which has been located in Azusa since the mid-1950s, has outgrown its present site and may move out of the San Gabriel Valley, general manager Bruce Usry said. The nursery, now surrounded by homes and other structures, cannot expand beyond its 300-acre location at Foothill Boulevard and Citrus Avenue. Usry confirmed that the company has been looking at 500- to 600-acre sites in Ventura and San Diego counties.
