UCI Tennis Team Beats Fullerton

The UC Irvine men’s tennis team, playing on its home courts, beat Cal State Fullerton Wednesday afternoon, 9-0, to improve its record to 17-11 overall. UCI is ranked No. 24 nationally.

UCI’s No. 1 singles player, Bruce Man Son Hing, defeated Fausto Bucheli, 6-2, 6-4; Ken Derr won the No. 2 match, 6-0, 6-2, over Billy Andrews; Art Hernandez won the No. 3 match over Mike Gagnon, 6-0, 6-2 and Mike Cadison won the No. 5 match over Kevin Joe, 6-1, 6-1.
